BROOKFIELD -- Bryson Herr belted a walk-off single with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth that scored Ryan Dell and Austin Yusko and propelled the Brookfield High baseball team to a thrilling 4-3 victory over Bethel.
Brookfield, now 7-1 on the season, was led by Ryan Berry, who went 3-for-4 at the plate with two runs scored and also pitched eight innings of two-run ball. Berry threw 124 pitches and struck out six batters while allowing five hits.
